Junior Cup 2009 is a competition which will involve all junior tchoukball teams around Malaysia. The goal of this event is to get the junior tchoukballers excited about tchoukball. So we’ll not only organize competitions between teams, but also a fun training session for all the junior players. It will be a fun time together learning, by competing & being trained for better understanding of tchoukball.

We’ve invited a taiwanese team (rank 1 in the world) to come help in this junior cup 2009. The Taiwanese will be giving free trainings & demo matches to the participants duing the Junior Cup.

This event will only involve under 18 boys’ players. As the Junior teams compete in this tournament, we (FITB “B” Coaches) will look out for potential tchoukball junior players to be in the Tchoukball Malaysia (Bethel) team.

We’ll select potential players in the end of Junior Cup to join in the 2009 training camp. The Taiwan coach will be conducting the camp with the help of a few “FITB” coaches from Malaysia. Hope to see players improve during this Junior Cup.

2009年八月二十四至二十五号，第一届巧固球男子组少年杯已圆满结束。此次比赛共有六十位参赛者、三十位志工及裁判参与。非常感谢育英小学为我们供应场地的需要，也感谢所有热情来参加比赛的参赛者们及裁判们。我们也很荣幸邀请到台湾新坡国中巧固球校队及教练们来为我们训练及教导。

此次比赛是由五个地区及队伍所组织成的，有：Bethel Team, Sungai Rambai, Crusaders, Merlimau 及 K.L. Grace

比赛成绩：

冠军 - Sungai Rambai

亚军 - Bethel

季军 - Crusaders

The 1^st Tchoukball Junior Cup has successfully completed on 24-25 Aug 2009. There were 10 volunteers and referees, and 45 participants joined this competition. We’re thankful to SJK (C) Yu Ying that has provided a place for us, and to all volenteers and referees that has enthusiastically helped in this competition. We are also thankful to the Taiwan tchoukball team which has helped us in imparting their knowlegde of playing tchoukball & availing their hands & feets for the past two events.

This Junior Cup was made up of 5 teams from different states. There were: Bethel, Sungai Rambai, Crusaders, Merlimau and Grace KL.

Result of competition:

Winner: Sungai Rambai

1^st runner up: Bethel

2^nd runner up: Crusaders

3rd runner up: Grace KL

4th runner up: Merlimau
