Tchoukball Malaysia (Bethel) will be organizing an event friendly days this coming 26th & 27th of November.

Purpose of this friendly days is let everyone get to know each other through tchoukball.
Also to let players learn more match skills through the tchoukball friendly days.

There are two category in this friendly day…s:

1st Category: Under-12 Boys, Girls and Women
Date & time: 26th November 2009 (3pm-7pm).
Venue: Kota Laksamana (Near Praise City Church)
Targeted teams: Melaka Baptist Church, Praise City Church, TMB training squad (Two teams), SJK(C) Pay Fong 3 (Two teams), BKFT & SJK(C) Chong Hwa (Two teams).
Fee: RM2 per person
Provide: Bread and Drinks
Details:
* 7 players in game (Unlimited substitutes)
* Mix teams (Boys, Girls and Women)
* Round robin
* Register before 16 Nov
* Team coach collect registration & fee.
* One player cannot play in two teams

2nd Category:Open Man
Date & time: 27th November 2009 (11am-7pm).
Venue: SJK(C) Yu Ying (Taman Godek, semabok)
Targeted Groups: Melaka Baptist Church, Praise City Church, Bethel Church, Sg.Rambai & Merlimau
Teams: Sg. Rambai, Melaka (Two teams), Merlimau
Fee: RM3 per person
Provide: Drinks
Details:
* Mix team (Each team will have two experience players)
* 7 players in game (Unlimited substitutes)
* Round robin
* Register before 16 Nov
* Leaders of teams collect registration & fee
* One player cannot play in two teams

Purpose of this friendly match is to get new players/teams interested in tchoukball.
Also to let them understand tchoukball more through the friendly match.

Tchoukball Promotion in Schools

We’ve started to promote tchoukball to public schools in Melaka. Many school principals have got to know the game. Some schools have even approve us to teach in their Physical Education classes.

Our objective is to raise a team of under 12 national tchoukball team for Asia Cup 2010 in Singapore.

Our approach to the schools is to go into schools and train players to participate in interschool tchoukball tournament, where potential players will be selected to join the national team to train for APTC2010. Each school will have a group of 10 players to be trained weekly.

Our Target group are the standard 5 students. We hope to promote in every standard 5 student PE class in the school.

Asia Pacific Tchoukball Championship 2010

Year 2010’s “Asia Tchoukball Cup” will be held in Singapore, July 2010. Everyone is excited about this coming tournament, because this “Asia Tchoukball Cup” will only be organized once in 4 years. In this tournament, there will be about 10 countries around Asia coming to compete in this tournament. There will be 6 categories in this tournament, under 12 boys & girls, under 18 boys & girls & above 18 men & women. Tchoukball Malaysia is targeting to send 4 teams to this “Asia Cup”. We’ve been preparing for this “Asia Cup” since june 2009 & we hope to promote to as many people as possible before going. We’ll be selecting players inMalaysia Tchoukball Tournament on 17-19 December 2009. Tchoukball is new in Malaysia, no one is an expert in the sport. Taiwan sing po secondary school Tchoukball school team came to helped in the Interschool tchoukball tournament and Junior cup. The TMB team learned a lot from the Taiwan tchoukball team & had great fellowship with them. We thanked them for their kind heart & energy that helped us.

Ming-te teacher, Kao teacher & Liao teacher was the leaders of the team. They came to Malaysia on 20-27th august 2009.

Chong Hwa Primary School

We have just promoted tchoukball to another school in Melaka. This school (Chong Hwa) is from Sungai Rambai, Melaka. The senior team in Sungai Rambai is currently teaching the school students. There were about 30 under 12 players turn out in the training. They will also be joining the Malacca Interschool Tchoukball Tournament this coming 22nd August.

We had about 40 students that joined us in Melaka. Both of the coaches that went had a great time promoting tchoukball to the kids. Hope the kids love the sport (which we can see they enjoyed it), come for the following 4 tchoukball trainings & go for the Interschool Tchoukball Tournament on 22nd August.
