About Us

“Tchoukball Malaysia (Bethel)” is registered under FITB “Federation International Tchoukball & APTBF “Asia Pacific Tchoukball Federation”. We have been promoting tchoukball since year 2007 in Malaysia. It is currently promoted in Malaysia by a group of youths with the support of a few organizations. Recently, there are 6 states in Malaysia that are playing tchoukball & more than 10 tchoukball teams exist in Malaysia now. Though we are not very good at the sport yet, in this few years, we’ve been to many international tournaments & we’ve played countless friendly match with other countries.

Tchoukball Goal: Our goal in tchoukball is to teach students in schools good morals through tchoukball trainings & activities. We truly believe this is a good way to teach good values to students and transform or improve students’ attitudes by giving them good activities & a good environment (Team). We, as tchoukball coaches will teach them discipline & be good role models to players as the tchoukball spirit teaches.

In the end of year 2006, we (A group of youths) were introduced to the game by Jeff Ang (General Secretary of Tchoukball Association Singapore) through a sport’s meeting. After getting to know about tchoukball, we got very excited about the game. We started to call our friends to join us, started to form teams and went to our first tchoukball tournament in Singapore named “Singapore Tchoukball Championship” in February 2007. After we came back from the tournament, we got even more excited, decided to continue promoting tchoukball & take it to the nation. So we registered ourself in the NSC “National Sports Council”, APTBF “Asia Pacific Tchoukball Federation & FITB “Federation International Tchoukball”. With endorsements  & identities from these organizations, we are promoting tchoukball enthusiastically through out the country and we hope to get into public schools to teach as soon as possible. Last of all, we thank you (Jeff Ang) for your time, energy & availability to promote tchoukball to Malaysia. It is very encouraging to see your passion in tchoukball.

I believe all the people that have played tchoukball before have found it the ideal sport to excel in. Because it is new in Malaysia, it is easier to master the sport. As long as you know how to play tchoukball at a basic level, you can teach others to play tchoukball too. So don’t wait any longer, if you don’t know the game, take up your phone/email us and find a date to try tchoukball. If you’ve played the game before, then continue to promote the sport in Malaysia, form tchoukball teams, train up & equip yourself with various Tchoukball Malaysia (Bethel)’s tchoukball courses.About Tchoukball Malaysia (Bethel)
